Sometimes it is a bit empty, but it makes up for it, and then some, in atmosphere. You really feel like you are in Havana, Cuba.

There is no other place in the city like Cafe Havana. I feel like I have suddenly teleported to Cuba as soon as I walk through the door. The commercial-grade ceiling fans, the white-washed walls, the espresso-brown woodwork, and the incredible pictures make for an awesome setting to have a Cuban sandwich, or just meet some friends for some of the best Mojitos in town.

But for the record, I liked it even better when they did not have a a sign- it made it kinda speak-easy cool- you had to know where it was to find it.

It is a pretty cool place, however $7 for a Mojito is too expensive.

I was there last weekend (jan. 24) in the afternoon, walking around and I found this place. It was fantastic!! Made me feel like I was on the Isla. Great music, great coffee and excellent staff. Everything was great.

The ropa vieja platter at Cafe Havana–tender, tasty, complete with sides (salad, rice, patacones), a good deal
